For the Student Blog Challenge Week 9: Doing Your Best, one of the topics was to write a post about what makes a great family.
My children and my husband mean more to me than anything else in this world, and being a close, loving, strong family is what is most important to me.
Before I had children, I was under the illusion that I would know how to be a perfect mom; I would just give my children the things I didn’t get. I would treat them how I had wished my parents had treated me. I thought it would be so super easy. How very wrong I was.
(When my children were born, they didn’t come with a manual explaining everything that they would need in order to feel loved. How much easier things would have been if they had. 🙂 )
Through trial and much error, and a lot of hard work, we (my children, my husband, and I) have had to learn how to work together to create the happy family we have all wanted to be. Some of the most important things we have learned on our journey is to never give up and to always keep believing, knowing you are loved.
To change the world around us, we have to change the world within us.
The Love Grows From Within You. Believe in YOU, always!
- Lately, I have been reading some wonderful posts about family, so I thought it would be a cool idea to make a Padlet wall to show them all off.
- To our wonderful visitors: If you have written a post about family, and I have not added it to the wall, please feel free to add it. I would love to see it!
- If you just have a thought about what makes a great family, or a site you have found that you would like to share, feel free to add that as well.
- Let’s see if we can fill up this Padlet wall:
“Where Family Love Reigns!”
